Tenzing MEMO began as a way to streamline our own research process.

Tom and Nick faced the common problem of keeping tabs on a large universe of companies with the limited resources of a small firm. Tom was an early participant in OpenAI's GPT-3 beta and was closely following developments in AI and Deep Learning. He knew it would soon be feasible to create an AI-first research assistant that could dramatically increase productivity for professionals following public companies. Meanwhile Nick had just the right background to turn the concept into a reality. Tenzing MEMO gradually took shape from there. In 2022, many thousands of lines of code later, Tenzing Analytics, Inc. was formally organized. In early 2023, MEMO was supercharged with the added power of GPT-4. Today Tenzing is curating input content and selectively employing the latest LLM tools to get professionals up-to-speed quickly.
